So far...during the first couple weeks of the lectures,we have discussed topics such as Smoking,Shoplifting,Prostitution and Stalking all of which have been very interesting and also to hear what others in the class have to say based around these topics,we talked over with one another the reasons for people smoking..why they do it ? why people continue with this smoking fashion ? What makes smoking so attractive as a pursuit ?
A programme called Peep Show 2005 Displays a man in a work place ,who stalks his other co-worker becuase he likes her,but when does a concerned interest in someones ability become stalking ??I beleive that you can have a general interest in someone but,not over the top and let it become stalking, thats an obsession.
Shoplifting is considered a crime nowadays, back in the days it was considered a petty crime, but it has worsened definetly,Shoplifting is not different to any other kind of theft, because its taking something thats not yours.I dont understand why people who can afford to buy things,go out and shoplift, thats greed!
A video below that displays true real stories on people who stalk but then ends up,past that.
A Video below on a 1961 movie called Breakfast at Tiffanys-Audrey Hepburn who plays a naive, eccentric goldigger.Questions raised from film were,Is it prostitution to take money from someone who is expecting sex,but then not to supply it.
